The eLearning channel for OPENSER Configuration File has started, Apr 28, 2008.
The target of the course is to:
– present the structure of the OpenSER configuration file
– guideline the design and implementation of a configuration file
– reveal insights of OpenSER that boost the performances by just using in the right sequence the statements in the configuration file
– provide tips and tricks you can use in a configuration file
– configuration file maintenance and upgrade
– how to upgrade to new versions and still be able to roll back quickly if something goes wrong
From a technical point of view, the course will approach topics of how you should design the configuration file and use properly components such as:
- global parameters
- module settings
- routing blocks
- decisional statements
- core functions
- keywords
- variables
- transformations
- config file flags
The course begins with the introduction of OPENSER, the architecture behind the configuration file, gradually going into complex aspects of SIP routing.
